No one ever came to do any repairs. I also took pictures of the black mold growing in the downstairs closet. $730 rent payment for September taken from my account after notice to vacate was already given with 30 days notice at the beginning of August (month to month lease). When I inquired about my refund they told me that they had 60 days to return the deposit once you leave. I wasn't talking about the deposit. I know based on reading older reviews that others have had a great experience in the past with this leasing company, but I have to say that this was not my experience. I applied for a lease property on May 9 and as of today, May 23, I have not had a single phone call, voicemail, or email returned. I had a disappointing experience with Owens, Meredith, and Sons. The service fell short in several ways. Communication was lacking, with emails and calls going unanswered. Additionally, there were issues with transparency and honesty. We have been trying to reach these people over a month with no success. They will not answer the phone, respond to emails, or text messages. When I first moved in, my deposit was $1200 plus the first month’s rent, I paid that.
