I just wanted to give a big shout out to 2 of OPU employees I worked with today. I called in for a possible gas leak on my outside meter and got excellent service!! Larry the customer service gentleman immediately called in a service guy to check it out. (I wish I would've got his name) within a very short time he arrived to check it out and I was called at work that it was indeed a gas leak. I never got a bill. That's because for two months, this utilities crap had been sending it to an address, We haven't lived in for 10 years.
If you are going to require people to use a new system to make payments it would have been a great idea to include the new account number on the invoice!
Thank you OPU for working the endless hours to restore the utilities of many! Your job was unexpected but you came in prepared. The significance of “home” has been brought back home by your resilience to provide utilities to those who lost them. The wait was long but you are Amazing!! this us an amazing utility
in this case where over half town is without power you closed your office or at least that's what recording said instead of letting people know what's going on and when they can estimate when power will be fixed. going on 24 hrs no power and I've yet to be able to talk to a person at your office. you get an f in customer service during emergency
