Dr. Owainati is negligent as he failed to disclose lung cancer/lymph node biopsy results to my mom. The bronchoscopy was performed over a month ago on January 12, 2024. A few calls were placed to Dr. Owainati, yet he has not returned neither phone call. Because he is withholding the biopsy results, he is indirectly denying my mom treatment opportunities. Profusely fed-up with him. He ordered me to take 2 different kind of vitamins to increase my red blood cells. Then he made me blood let because I had too high of a red blood cells count. He claimed this was his best medical advise. Shame on him.
This “Doctor” did not listen to my fathers complaints, made my mother cry for asking him a question. He refused to tell us how long my father had to live and when he passed away in the hospital, this “Doctor” said to my mother, “Well, we tried”. You didn’t try hard enough and you didn’t care. You’re ridiculous and should be ashamed of yourself and your practice. There’s better people out there, too bad we didn’t know better and clearly didn’t have time, which again we weren’t informed of. Thanks “Doctor”.
Dr. Owainati has been a god send to my Mom. He has been kind, comforting, and very knowledgeable in my Mothers treatment. His bedside manner is excellent, he truly cares about his patients. You do not feel like you are on an assembly line when you go in there, he takes his time and explains everything to you. If you are needing an Oncologist Dr. O is the person for you.
