The ER nurses were neglectful to the point of cruelty, leaving me hooked up to a bed with no access to a commode despite severe norovirus infection. After hours passed without anyone checking on me or answering the call button, I was covered in my own filth, and I attempted to reach the door or a sink. The nurses worked efficiently and the customer service was very good. When there are a lot of emergency patients, the waiting time is long because they are given priority for life-threatening patients.

I went in for severe upper abdominal and back pain that initially started as chest pain. I arrived at the ER at 7:50pm, wasn't triaged until 12:20am. And didn't receive anything for the 10/10 pain I was experiencing until 4am. I told everyone I spoke to that in addition to the back pain, I was experience tingling in both legs and weakness and uncoordinated movement in my left leg. Daughter has low oxygen levels and high heart rate. Urgent care in Clark was great but told us to go to hospital for more care. We went to Overlook. The ER was crowded. Lots of people with what seemed like stomach viruses as they had thrown up bags. We waited 3 hrs. They took my copay of course. When we told person at desk that we need a nebulizer treatment as it has been 4 hrs since last, they told us there are people waiting much longer than us. Horrible horrible experience.
