Dr. Perlmutter listened carefully to my issues and proposed possible solutions. He followed up today with other recommendations. I liked that he said we will get to the bottom of this!
We do not recommend this doctor at all. He is very rude and condescending. He acts like he knows everything and everyone else is beneath him. Anyone who has to say they are smart, in our experience, definitely has inadequacies they are trying to compensate for. He informed my husband he is retiring next week and referred him to someone else at the clinic. First of all, why is he still accepting new patients if he is retiring in a week? My first visit with Neal. He listened to my questions supplied the answers and told me what we were doing next.
Dr. Perlmutter was my cardiologist. I had a rapid heartbeat and his team performed an ablation. Before the procedure they performed an exploratory to make sure my heart was capable of withstanding the procedure. Part of that exploratory was to check for any blockages. They performed the procedure and my heart rate was back to normal. Three weeks later, I suffered a heart attack due to a major blockage.
