I have chronic hypertension and despite my effort to figure out why, it was nearly impossible. Due to my pregnancy a year ago, I came here after pregnancy to keep my blood pressure under control and try to see if they can figure out why I have hypertension. In my view I was treated poorly by a nurse here several times. I have a heart history and symptoms that were new. She didn't take me seriously and these were serious symptoms. I had to advocate for myself many times in order to be heard. I had to ask for a different nurse because of how uneasy I felt. I requested direct contact from their clinic supervisor and never recieved a call from the supervisor. I can sense something is off with this nurse and I tried to warn them. Very conformable
My defibrillator was replaced yesterday and all is well. My experience was good, I felt well taken care of the whole time, from admitting to discharge and everything in between. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the volunteer that took me back and the meal provided. The volunteer acted like he was on court-ordered community service. Speaking fast he asked me, "you going to H'n'B?", I couldn't tell what he had said so I said "I don't know - I'm getting my defibrillator replaced", as I didn't really know the department ... read more
