this place is basically a daycare, the only people with "success" leaving pathetic 5 star reviews obviously have very mild mental health issues, no trauma. if u feel so special being coddled by these fake doctors, you're favored for not even being ill to begin with and not being "difficult". pathetic. i'm traumatized from this place. not only did I have multiple negative experiences with staff, the treatment itself was absurdly lacking. the facility stinks, from the treatment I received from the "doctor", to the quite litera... read more
Not a healthy or safe place for those who suffer from eating disorders or borderline personality disorder. My partner is currently there and her needs for her bpd have been completely ignored. They use threats like we will send you somewhere worse where they will shove tubes down your throat and make you eat. They intentionally traumatized her knowing it's a bpd trigger. They are unprofessional and under qualified to be licensed psychologists because they don't understand that mental health is not a cookie cutter one size fi... read more
This place and the staff working here saves lives. As someone close to some who was admitted here, I will never be able to thank the staff enough for their care. The inpatient unit is clean and modern, the food was great, group therapies were helpful and educated. I highly recommend Overlake for anyone going through a hard time.
Called 6 times and was sent to voicemail
When I was admitted I was on the brink of wanting to die. I was a mess, my marriage was falling apart, I was extremely depressed and my anxiety was over the top. Overlake saved my life and my family. They helped me get in the right meds and Learn SO much about myself. I have the tools, knowledge and skills I need to move forward and I feel so hopeful. Thank you for everything! This place was truly a blessing ❤️
