Had an excellent meeting with my cardiac surgeon, Dr. Robret Binford, on 4/1. This was a six month checkup after open hear surgery on 9/19/25. I had a very good surgical experience with a great surgical team followed by a great recovery team. I would highly recommend Dr. Binford and Overlake Hospital as well as Dr. Kurus, my cardiologist, to anyone requiring cardiac care. I would also be happy to act as a referral to potential patients.
I had a two minute wait the reception and saw the fictor almost immediately.
Dr. Binford and his staff are awesome.
I'm just getting started in a journey towards a surgical repair of a heart valve. Dr. Binford was a voice of clarity, patience and experience. He offered me the space I needed to ask all the questions I could think of. He treated me respect as he answered my questions and left me feeling much more informed and accepting of what's to come. The other staff members I met were also caring and responsive. That's a gift when dealing with something as unnerving as heart surgery!
