Stopped by Overflow Coffee in LIC and tried their piña colada espresso drink. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing—the pineapple flavor completely overpowered the espresso, and the sparkling water felt pretty flat. Not quite the balanced drink I was hoping for. That said, it’s still a decent spot to grab a coffee, especially with those mouth-watering shelves packed with yummy-looking pastries. Clean bathroom too, which is always a plus. Meh. Almond croissant tasted stale and the iced lattes were so light/milky that I had to order extra shots after they were already made.
Really good strawberry matcha! And I say this as one of those people who almost always prefers to make their matcha at home.
