They didn't refer to me as King Rudy, a bearded man catcalled me, and I'm pretty sure I got married by a donkey in a 'Make America Great Again' hat. Overall, great experience.
If you want a real in your face experience with MUSIC, whether it is independent groups or commercial bands and artists, Outland Ballroom, has the space to make this happen, where it comes to life in an environment that welcomes everyone. All forms of music tastes and exposures. I would recommend this amazing place to anyone I know, that steps foot into Springfield Missouri. -Nabz
This is a sad story about how I am never going to this Venue in the summer again. Staff/Security were great, crowd was awesome, good prices, good location. However...do not attend a summer show here. There is no air conditioning of any sort!!! not even a ceiling fan. It was 110 degrees and I heard lots of people complaining of serious heat exhaustion. Ruined the whole Candlebox show. Tip for management - Buy an exhaust fan for the roof and you will sell triple the tickets.
Selling tickets advertising a band headlining and that band isn't headlining is bs. Poor management. I hope your business goes under.
Business response:
The show was cancelled due to lack of sales. It was decided on between us and the band/their management. Refunds should have been issued and if for some reason they weren't a week ago, we will get that squared away ASAP. We never falsely advertised anything. It was just an unfortunate circumstance that cancelled the show.
Went to one of there balls and had a blast the people rock
Great venue, great staff, great sound!!! Great shows!! No doubt, just need a little more ENduVal!!!
I have been to many shows at the Outland and I have always enjoyed myself. I like the atmosphere, lots of music selection and the staff have always been cool. Great place to see a show!!
