Brought in a Ferris IS5000 because it was running low on power. They told me it was running on 2 out of 3 cylinders and that the motor needs to be replaced which would be around $4-5000. They charged me $170 for a 10 minute compression test. I then brought it to a friend who removed the valve cover and saw it had a broken push rod which took him 10 minutes to do, 3 screws, easily accessible... Horrible customer service!! I purchased a new snowblower from Outdoor Power in November 2025. I bought a cab and they installed and delivered it to my residence. The bolts on the cab were never secured properly and after several uses the bolts wiggled loose due to the vibration and the cab blew off while I was snowblowing. I also noticed that when they installed the cab the lower bar of the cab sat on top of the cable that controls the Shute direction causing the cable to fray. A great sales department very knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend... Also very competitively priced... They also have a great service department also..
They have had my snowblower for 2 months are very rude and never returned my phone calls wouldn't give me a price for the repairs had pick my snowblower up in same condition as dropped off
Quality of work in service is good but customer experience and communication is awful.
