Outback Island Tanning & Nails is NASTY! SNOBBY AND RUDE! The entire staff is stuck up and very disrespectful. When i walked in, the door was already open and the entire staff was eating there lunch in the front of the salon....... very dirty i hope they washed there hands after they cleaned peoples beds. When i asked one of the girls a question she used one of the salon towels to wipe her mouth off with the food that was already in her mouth when she was talking to me.....i will never go back to this salon ever again. Rude, Rude, Rude and Skanky staff!!! This place was nasty. I went there and I had to wait on the girl to get off her cell phone for about 15 minutes. Apparently she was fighting with her boyfriend, because she was quite vulgar. When she finally got off the phone I asked about the beds and she was rude and had no clue what the wattage of the beds and basically brushed me off like I was stupid for asking. When I did tan she didn't ask me what time I wanted to go for and I only wanted to tan for 7 minutes since I hadn't had muc... read more

I've been goin 2 outback for over 2 years now and everyone who works there r very nice and the shop is really relaxed and just like a small town kinda place! I'm from the big city so I know how rude most tanning salons r but when I walked into here everyone was very nice and they informed me on all the things they had 2 offer! I love them bc they talk 2 u like they've known u 4ever not like ur just another customer.
customer I have been going to Outback Island for years. I live it. The owner & staff are friendly & down to earth. The place is clean & tastefully decorated. The beds are well taken care of & bulbsare changed as often as needed.Prices are reasonable & they run some really good specials. I've been to several other tanning salons & this one is by far m favorite. They supply you with deodorant, wipes & bodyspray for those who forget to bring their own. Love everything about this place. Great staff Prices and staff are GREAT! The only complaint is the price of the tanning lotions..Almost double the price of what you can buy it for over the internet. I think its great that they do appointments, most tanning salons don't do appointments. I love the 10 min beds and the no burn bed..The 20 min bed is old and burns my skin no matter how tan I am.
If you dont care about your skin go to Outback! Very Gross!! I can't believe people would even find this place inviting. The Staff is VERY rude! I asked the girl that was working what her packages were and she just pointed at her wall. She would not take the timeout to go over them with me, like I was bothering her being there. The place was empty and now I see why. I walked out and have not returned and never will. They are not knowledgeable about tanning. I would not trust my skin with this salon. Go somewhere else.

I walked in and walked right back out! The atmosphere was cluttered and smelled musty. I waited in the "lobby" area and looked at their lotion selection and all they had were these cheap lotions that she claimed were good lotions...no...I owned a tanning salon....these lotions were like the crap that would turn you orange. She didn't even know what was in the lotion, like bronzers, accelerators, tingle....absolutely nothing.
