They “updated” the meter box and replaced the meter key to some impossible shape and now charge $35 to turn off and another $35 to turn on the water. Myself and the plumber are unable to use our own tools or keys to do it ourselves and the operator for OUC gaslights us and says it should be easy for us to do. Absolute BS
The representative Tara was not useful in anyway. She was very dismissive to my needs.
I called OUC to start my service with them. Jailene was the person who was supposed to help me, but she refused. She opened an account for me and said that I should have to pay the deposit through their website. I said that I was having problems to log in the website and there was a message to call them. She said that she couldn’t help me and I should log in and pay the deposit (even knowing that I was having issues to login in). The reliable one? OUC is the antithesis of reliable. They charged me twice for the “deposit”. Then proceed to tell me I had “insufficient funds”. They were not able to double check my routing or account number to see if they received the right one and I couldn’t access that on my end either. They then proceeded to charge me an additional $50 for “late fees”. Which I was never made aware of.
