The service is really poor.. we had a booking but had to still wait 45 mins.. also we got our food after an hour of ordering except the starter which came after 30mins.. the server was rude and the food was below average.
It took us over an hour to get a table, went in with high hopes for German comfort food but left underwhelmed. The “extra boozy” drink was fair at best and wasn’t boozy at all and just tasted like someone threw a bunch of different liquors in a glass and put tajin on it. The pork shank was cooked through but dry, lacking the fall-apart tenderness you want from a good shank. Amazing little German restaurant. The pretzel and mustard was excellent, the halibut was over cooked however my pirogies were fantastic. They were a little heavy handed on the garlic. My absolute favorite item was the spatzle Mac n cheese.
