Honestly, this place should be slightly ashamed of itself. The food was the worst I've had since being in Texas for a week. Visiting from the UK, I was looking forward to something different from the Mexican and BBQ (which have been unreal). Unfortunately, the Schnitzel was not good, and I make them better at home. We ordered take out. The food was great. The staff and some of the guests speak German.
I tried the recommendation and they were really good. Highly recommend here!
Don’t waste your money. There is plenty of great German restaurants in Fredericksburg, but not this one. All the food we received was extremely bland and overall not authentic. Also received a Moscow Mule which was essentially lime juice in a copper mug. Overall just kind of mediocre, explore other options
We visited Otto's years ago and could not wait to go back. What a disappointment! The service was questionable but the food was NOT good at all. Period! We were so disappointed. A local told us to go to somewhere else but we were sold on Otto's. Not sure why the quality of their food is now below par but we will not be going back.
