I also had him yell at me about crying. He was very unprofessional about a lot of things. I will never go back.

He threw the dsm-5 in my lap and started Telling me I had 15+ things wrong with me. He yelled at me about crying. (Note I went to him about sexual abuse and he was first for me to talk to except for my family) made me feel so much worse. Wouldn't recommend.

The best in town. No one else has come close. With other therapists, you end up listening to your spouse complain and then you complain and they referee. With Otteson, he gives you the tools to actually get along.

Life changing . I was in a bad place emotionally when I found Dr Ottesen. I was in an abusive relationship and couldn't see it for what it was. I truly believed it was my fault and somehow I deserved the way I was treated. He was honest and let me process it on my own time. I felt like his office was the safest place I've ever had in my life. He is an expert in Human behavior and helped me understand my choices along with others. I am so grateful to him. I owe my new healthy life to his csre.
