The Ott House has been a family opperated pub since we opened in 1970. We just celebrated our 40th year anniversary! We are located on the corner of Main Street in Emmitsburg, MD. A great place for good company, & great food with reasonable prices!

Fun Place Ok, I've never gone there to eat anything more than the occasional mozzarella stick (gotta have something in your stomach to suck up the booze), but I've heard that they do have really good food. Anyway, it's a fun place to go on Friday & Saturday nights. Intersting mix of people from the local rednecks to the preppy college kids to the firemen from the Fire Academy. The bands that play there are usually pretty good and turn out pretty great after you've had a few.
Great food, fun atmosphere! I've been there a couple of times, once for dinner with my family, and once for "drinks" with a couple of friends. Dinner was very good, and the service was excellent. Everyone in the family enjoyed their meal, and my kids especially enjoyed looking at all of the fire department "stuff" on the walls! Drinks with friends was also highly satisfactory! Flavorful food served by a courteous, caring staff with the owners involved with the customers make this pub a true joy to visit. The decor is undeniablly Fire Department related and is very interesting. A warm, comfortable place to eat with a great menu!
