My experience at Dr. Gamble’s office was very different from any doctor’s appointment I’ve ever had. My entire appointment lasted less than two minutes. I was referred by my primary care doctor after having a CT scan, but when I arrived, it seemed like the doctor didn’t really know why I was there or what I had been referred for. Called to make an appointment and was told the plano location had the soonest availability. So it was scheduled, received the appointment confirmation on the app showing the date / time / location. Upon arriving at the plano office, they said my appointment was scheduled for the Dallas location and suggested I reschedule, which would be another month. I told them no thank you. I would like to share my experience with Otolaryngology Specialists of North Texas. I was seen by Dr. Michael Kubala for two separate medical concerns, and from my first appointment, I was extremely impressed. My wait to see Dr. Kubala was minimal. He carefully assessed my condition, and the treatment he prescribed cleared up, within days, a problem I had been dealing with for weeks. Very frustrating appointment process. Most doctors’ offices send simple email or text reminders to confirm appointments. This office only sent one message telling me to download their app, and everything had to be managed through it. The app was inconvenient and confusing to use, and because of that my appointment ended up getting lost. I can’t comment on Dr. Gamble as a doctor since I never made it to the visit, but the scheduling process for patients is definitely not smooth.
