We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Fama. He performed my daughter’s thyroid surgery and took the time to carefully explain every aspect of the procedure, including the risks and what to expect throughout the process. Every time they are behind schedule and leave people waiting to even check in
Dr Fama has quite poor bedside manner. I think he also excessively cauterized my rebleed tonsillectomy. Had another ENT take a look at me, post-recovery, and he said it looked okay. So, I guess I'm okay and still alive. But uncertain if it's because of or despite Dr. Fama's efforts.
The staff is not friendly at all. Dr. Fama made me feel very insignificant. I did not feel heard at all. He had the nerve to ask me what my MRI results said and proceeded to tell me that everyone has those same results without ever even seeing the report or imaging. Almost dismissive of my symptoms. Spent maybe three minutes MAX in the exam room with me. All this was because my neurologist referred me here for additional testing so obviously something is going on. Made me feel like a crazy person.
