My appointment was at 2:30. I was sent to a room and wait in a papuer 2pc garment. Waited for over 1:30 hours in a cold room covered w paper. I called the reception from the room. Nobody cared to come tell me the reason for the delay. Walked out at 4:30. Nobody even asked or saw me walking out. Why don't doctors have common sense? I am recently diagnosed for diabetics and couldn't wait any longer. They want us to pay on time but never see us on time or apologize for hours of wait.
Very negative experience with this office today. An appointment means NOTHING. The staff is not accommodating and these people will waste your time...AFTER you wait one month for an appointment.
Excellent doctor, she is caring, friendly and a really nice doctor. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She delivered my daughter and my experience was amazing the best !!!! Her staff is very friendly also.
I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Otero to anyone that I know because as a whole they pride themselves on FAT SHAMING patients that come to their office. I was turned away as a patient because I weighed 6 lbs over Dr. Otero's weight limit for pregnant woman. I was not aware that there was a weight limit in order for a doctor to accept a patient. To add insult to injury I was also advised that I should possibly look into a HIGH RISK OB GYN even though my medical records clearly stated that I was healthy.
I hate the staff's !!
My visits to Dr Otero has been great; as a first time mom she took the time to answer all my questions and eased my concerns about miscarriage. Her assistant took the time to explain the insurance process. So glad we switched from that male OB/GYN in Lauderdale Lakes; even though he's good you have to deal with his staff and they're rude and unprofessional.
