One of the best in town! – A friend took me to the original Figo a couple of miles from this location when they were almost entirely a take-out operation and I was blown away. The pasta and sauces are excellent and there's always an interesting special (or two) available. The ambiance at this (newer, bigger) location is great - a sort of casual hip. Definitely go here! – My husband and I drive across town almost weekly to come to Osteria del Figo. The food is always delicious, and when the line is long, the management brings out free appetizers! The service has always been impeccable - we take new people there all the time!
Mamma mia – I'm a true Italophile, always in search of authentic italy in Atlanta...oy, this is it. Of course, you'd never find a mix-and-match sauce and pasta, order-first, seat-yourself osteria in Italy, but for succulent, flavorful dishes, fresh ingredients, and convivial atmostphere, assolutamente di sì (this is it)! It's always busy, but the line moves fast...worth the short wait. Buon appetito!
Good food, smaller portions – The food is great for the money! You can eat cheaply or go all out. I recommend the Caprese salad. This light salad has a great dressing, and the buffalo mozerella is the best I've had in the area. The service can lack a little bit. Then again, it is cheap, good food!
