My favorite coffee shop in NYC. Open late, plus they have drinks (wine and beer) and a good crowd for happy hour. It is very common to see people on a first date here.

Just had the greatest experience of my life I've lived in the East Village for 2yrs, well going on Two years... I've never walked into OST CAFE only have walked by it. Well today, 6/30/14 I walked in B R I G H T smiling, and met Ally Goate....WHAT AN AMAZING WOMAN! She's so kind, so informative, really knew her coffee, welcomed lil' old straggler me and made me feel so comfortable. Dear OST CAFE, Give that barista a RAISE! Or seriously let her know she raised my happiness vibration! Beautiful experience.
