I'm very disappointed in the service from your ER I received on Tuesday, after being brought in from Clinton by ambulance around 11am with severe leg and hip pain I laid in room #5 until around 5:30 pm seeing a nurse 3 times, a nurse practitioner 2, about a week earlier I had an MRI at OSF which had shown a disk problem, mind you no pain medication, no evaluation on my diabetes, and 4 vials of blood, which the ambulance personal had taken on way to hospital was ever addressed. It is Thursday and have yet to hear from Dr Ann ... read more

Radiology said i could get an mri on my back with having a dermal.. so when i got up at 4am and drove 35 minutes to get there and had to pay for a baby sitter, they denied me services.. And to top it off i had to wait 45 minutes at the desk waiting for someone to show up

The birthing center team clearly understands that having an excellent team isn't just important during labor, delivery, and immediately following birth, but that parents need support when they leave the hospital. Sarah Musselman, the lactation consultant, was there for questions and support many months after I had my son. We attended the free Moms of Beautiful Babies groups were we received endless support.

So much better than Bromenn! I can say that because I had my grown daughter at their ER last week for the exact same thing I had her in OSF ER last night...for debilitating back pain. Bromenn doc did not even look at or palpate her back. At least OSF checked her out, ordered tests, and ruled some things out. Didn't find the cause like we had hoped, but she can make it til her appt with her doc that was already scheduled in a couple days. 4 stars cuz our nurse was fabulous, but the doc pretty offish.
