I’ve been a long-time patient, dating back to before the acquisition of Advanced Orthopaedic Centers. Since OrthoVirginia took over, the overall patient experience has noticeably declined. There appears to be significant staff turnover, including physicians, along with ongoing issues related to claims processing and billing. Insane charges for PT. I have received a bill for $190+ for one session and $160+ for another (after ~200 reduced with insurance adjustment). They just showed me the exercise and I had to do it. It wasn't even in a 1 to 1 setting but in a gym like setting where the therapist was switching back and forth with patients less than 1 hour session. The people who work they are nice and kind. But this company is ripping off innocent people in pain. These prices are insane and honestly criminal

The facilities are nice, access is great. The staff, well that's another story. Turnover here is pretty high. Very unprofessional staff that works under Stovall. That's the one to avoid, terrible patient treatment from that group. Multiple VDH complaints, you're taking your chances here.

Dr Chris Newtin is the best. He listen, he is professional and his shots don’t hurt. I get cortisone shots in my hip, knees, and shoulders.

Wouldn't recommend. The back doctor states and mri can be done if their medication doesnt help but schedules you a month out. They want their copay for that follow up appt so they will not help by phone and the nurse is very short and rude with how she speaks to patients. The doctor, of course, doesn't call or respond to virtual messages. Then the quickest they will help is an entire 6 days earlier. Patients concerns are not appreciated. They work in their time not yours and with little concern to how you feel.
