RecommendedIn a word everything. The medical staff is excellent as is the office staff. I have been treated by Dr. Klein for major and minor knee and shoulder problems and my husband and I both have been treated by Dr. Mazahery for spine issues. They are both examples of everything you want in a surgeon.

OrthoVirginia is very punctual for having the patient in a examination room and the Dr. seeing you. Estimate maybe 10 minutes from the time I check in until my Dr is meeting with me. Secondly I love Dr. Smithson, he takes the time to really get to know about your lifestyle in relation to the injuries you are dealing with and in return he makes sure he has thoroughly explained what your situation is and the treatment options available. I have been seeing Dr Mark Jones at Ortho VA for years now with knee issues. I trust his knowledge and recommendations for my treatment. I am very pleased that he has worked out options other than surgery even though I know that day will come. He is the best!

Dr. Kiritsis is a wonderful doctor! He has fixed both of my husband's rotator cuffs. Believe me that was a miracle! They were in bad shape and he got him to have the surgery. He took care of my frozen shoulder. Not a problem with it since. I recommend him to everyone I know. The staff is also top notch!! 😁

The doctors have always been great with surgeries and follow up care. the office staff at Puddleduck and Johnston Willis office were kind and caring. I was impressed, and felt safe, regarding the Covid precautions OrthoVirginia provided. I had been told at an Urgent Care facility that my fracture would probably require surgery. So I was so relieved when Dr. Mook looked at my x-ray and said all I needed was a brace. Dr. Mook provided excellent, efficient care. At my 6 week follow-up, Dr. Mook showed me the new x-ray and pointed out the new bone growth. That was very pleasant and encouraging news.
