RecommendedI have been a patient of OrthoVA for30 years - seen several doctors and happy with all of them. All of my immediate family go there. Dr. Garnett did mine and my mother’s knee surgeries, Dr. Herring did my husbands shoulder, Dr. Desai did wrist and Dr. Swanstrom did my finger. The staff is superb. They are all caring and supportive of their patients.
Everyone is friendly, professional, accommodating and knowledgeable.
Went to get an assessment on how a broken leg bone was healing. Dr. Dalton was very knowledgeable, took his time listening to my concerns and assessing my condition, and gave me good follow up guidance. Very satisfied.
I was literally terrified to go in for my frozen shoulder. From the front desk, intake nurse, X-ray tech, and doctor I was so well taken care of and all my fears put at ease. Awesome office, even better staff. You guys are AMAZING!!!!!
I have had wonderful care with Dr. Lawhorn. He did the surgery on my collar bone that shattered. I now have an appointment with Dr. McMahon for anterior hip replacement. I trust OrthoVirginia for all orthopedic issues.

I saw Dr. Jump at OrthoVirginia and the staff was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Kump was really sweet and knowledgeable. He gave me a painless cortisone shot in my knee and I would definitely go there again if needed. Dr. Kump tells it like it is, no sugarcoating.
Dr. Barnard was great with my 9 year old daughter and was patient and thorough in his explanation of her injury. Great bedside manner!
