At Ortho Virgina my good fortune was to have Dr. R. Childs preform my back surgery. He is a very well respected surgeon in his field. Everyone who I needed to get a test done with all said Dr. Childs is the best! Runs a very precise surgery and his peers also spoke highly of him, even my own Family Doctor! Please be aware of an employee of yours (Donna Kalkman Clune) who’s online behavior is despicable. NBC 12 reported on their FB page that a driver intentionally ran their car into a group of protestors yesterday and Donna openly commented “stay out of the road and you won’t get run over”. Very insensitive and inhumane. Additionally, the idea that there could have possibly been patients of yours among the crowd of peaceful protestors and this is her response to it. Had full knee replacement on 5/21, withGordon Avery as surgeon. So far, overjoyed with the results. Pre-op preparations were thoroughly explained and easy to follow. Surgery day at Virginia Hospital Center was professional, capable and calmly handled from walking in to waking up in recovery to exit the next day.
