This practice did not have an updated address for me, so when they billed me it bounced back, and then they sent the fee for a recent visit to a debt collector--they did not contact me for an update or point out this issue to me when I was there in person shortly after the visit in question. Then when I called them when I was first contacted by the debt collector they said they'd take care of it, and did nothing. I am not someone who is ever delinquent. Unprofessional, offensive, unapologetic. Time for another practice.
If I could get this place less than one I would. We started at the Ashburn office. It was a good experience but then we needed to follow up at the fair oaks office where we were told that the cast from the Ashburn office was an older material and sub par. Then fair oaks put a new cast on only for it to break 2 days before the appointment to have it removed. We called and explained the situation and were told to come in by 10:30 to fair oaks. I got referred to orthovirginia by urgent care because of a pain issue that they couldn't find a reason for. I had to wait 2 weeks to be able to be seen, while in pain every day, and then had my appointment cancelled at 5pm the day before via text. No new times were offered, I was told to call for a new appointment. No explanations, no apologies, I have to pay a cancellation fee but you can cancel my appointment with less than 18 hours to go and I'm owed nothing apparently. Outstanding! I've never had a bad experience at this location when coming to see Dr Novak. I've now had three surgeries with OrthoVirginia, two of them outpatient and one of them with Dr Childs also outpatient. All have been outstanding, not just the results and the surgeries, but the follow visits as well as initial visits with not only those two doctors but also with their PAs and other staff members that I've had to communicate with through MyChart to get pressing answers. This practice annoys me. Changing requirements for my son to be seen. Poor customer service. Review is not a reflection of the actual doctors who I have found to be high quality
