[NOTE: This is a continuation of a review for Dr. Glenn Kerr] I asked Dr. Kerr if we could now do the MRI of the other knee, which he also denied. I requested he write in his note in MY chart that he is denying the MRI. He said he would, but when he read me what he was writing in my chart, he worded it as we had a conversation about it. I then said “and that you are denying the request.” He said he was not going to write that. I asked him why, and he responded in a relatively angry tone that it was “fraudulent.” I then clar... read more

This review is for Dr. Glenn Kerr, a second doctor at OrthoVA I saw regarding my knee pain, who I was able to get in to see roughly 3 months after my last appointment with Dr. Reyes. The first appointment with him went better than I was anticipating. Although he tried to start the conversation with telling me I just had to lose weight and do PT, he backed off of that after I told him I have a history of disordered eating and not currently seeking treatment plans until I learn diagnostically what is going on in my knees. Whe... read more

[NOTE: This is a continuation of a review of Dr. Reyes due to the other review meeting the character limit] Keep in mind, the ONLY information Dr. Reyes had on my knees was from the x-rays they did at the initial appointment, which only tends to show bone stuff. I have been dealing with enough medical issues for a good amount of my life (and I am only a young adult), that I was pretty certain there was more going on that just “mild arthritis.” I absolutely left that appointment crying, and ended up staying in my car afterwa... read more

As a little background, I am currently undergoing chemotherapy, and have been for almost a year now. Both of the doctors I met with knew of this. I also have experienced chronic pain in my knees for as long as I can remember (yes, even in childhood). I had been experiencing more significant knee pain for roughly the past 2.5 years and have been searching for a diagnosis for both of them since that type of knee pain was different than my typical knee pain. Since undergoing chemotherapy, my knee pain has gotten to the point wh... read more

Dr. Matthew Walker did shoulder replacement surgery on 08/27/20. The surgery appeared to go well and I was scheduled to return to work within 8-12 weeks. Six weeks after surgery my right hand was extremely swollen, the fingers numb and unable to bend. A nerve test showed considerable damage to the Median nerve. I was told it may have caused by the way I was placed on the surgery table or because the sling I had to wear for 6 weeks after surgery may not have been the proper size. I worked for my company 17 years, but the... read more
