I was sent home with a walking boot after foot surgery. The boot was too small and caused some issues with my ankle that I now have to do PT. I ended up purchasing the same one in a larger size from an online retailer. The new boot was around $80. Seven weeks after surgery I received a bill from Orthotic Prosthetic Center in BG for the original boot. They are trying to charge me $459 for a boot that costs $80 or less anywhere else.
