RecommendedIf you’re shopping for an orthopedic surgeon...here’s a shout-out to Dr. Grant Garcia with Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle. He put three (big) screws into our daughter left leg to fix a risky fracture in the head of the femur. He was caring, compassionate and such a perfectionist — all we could ask for! My regular orthopedic doctor is retiring this year, so should I need orthopedics in the future (good chance) I’m thinking of making the drive to Seattle...even with the horrible traffic. 🚘🤯
If you're going to shatter your wrist, at least go to OSS and have Dr. Weil fix it up. Physical therapy with Erik Nielsen was also really helpful. Everyone there was great over the past 10 weeks and I am only one scar away from being good as new. Thanks OSS!

DR Peterson was easy to talk to and did everything he could to make my hip replacement surgery easy. Great experience and I would return in the future.
I have had 2 hips done in 13 months with Dr. Phillip Downer. One in November 2016 and the other in late November 2017. I waited on the first one too long. I had heard for years that you should wait to do them later. I had wore my socket out and tendons had shortened. It took over 7 months to get things stretched out and feeling better. The second surgery I started to feel pain and had it done. In 7 weeks I felt better than 7 months with the first hip.
