After falling at work and opening a L&I claim, I saw Dr Shapiro. He listened to me and recommended PT at first. After doing PT, my shoulder was not better. I then did an MRI and my rotator cuff was torn in 2 places. Dr Shapiro gave me options, and I selected surgery. He explained what he was going to do and how after the surgery was all up to me to rehab the shoulder to get me back to before injury. I am now 6 months post surgery, and feel great. Was 5 minutes late for an appointment, and was rudely chastised by the receptionist. After waiting 45 minutes in the lobby, was told the doctor would not have time to see me, come back another day. Not coming back.

I really appreciated the professionalism of all the staff at the Wallingford location. As a nurse, I have high expectations of my caregivers and I was never disappointed. Dr Shapiro clearly explained all my options from expectant management and physical therapy to surgical intervention...and he's quite easy on the eyes as well.

I saw Dr. Mark Wagner for arthritis of my knee - he explained my treatment options and I selected the less intrusive option of stem cells with the plasma enriched protein. The first 4-5 days were challenging for me,but after 7 days I am beginning to regain mobility in my left knee and although I was troubled by pain, my knee feels better and stronger. This is the second time I have used the services of OSS. This time I had a complete shoulder replacement. The organization, professional approach, the efficiency is top rate. I was provided with all the information needed to make informed decisions and the follow up has been great. Highly Recommend OSS and the team of doctors.

I recently saw Dr. Wagner for arthritis in my knee. He gave me a platelet rich plasma injection and it worked great! Within 6-7 days after the injection, my knee range of motion was nearly back to normal, my stair climbing ability was back to normal, and my pain was nearly gone. It is amazing! The injection is not painful and certainly much less expensive than a joint replacement. Dr. Wagner's MA, Athena, is also great! She is very personable, efficient and kind. I highly recommend Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle.
