After my surgery my aftercare plan was changed becuase my ankle wasn't as bad as the MRI..which confused me...the MRI showed a lack of cartilage & surgery revealed cartilage was 'ok'...which one is right. 8 days after surgery I was put into a walking boot, that was at my house, instead of a WBC. I drive home with a light wrap on my ankle & the first step out of the truck before i could get into my house to get my boot my foot popped just like before my surgery, more than 10 times since, and has been a little numb & tingly since ... read more

I finally got my surgery date to fix my ankle that I may have to postpone or find another dr that accepts my insurance so I can get a leg cart for my recovery. The most important peice of equipment I need & Ortho Foot & Ankle doesnt accept my insurance. How can they accept my insurance for the surgery but are unable to provide the leg cart. Doesn't make any sense they can do the surgery but cant provide the necessary equipment after the surgery.....its like they'll do the surgery then toss you out of the hospital w/o caring ... read more

The entire staff at OFAC is great and Dr. Philbin was a wonderful surgeon to work with. Before meeting him, I never thought that I would get to experience life without foot and ankle pain. I had an ankle fusion in November 2019, and now I'm healed and pretty much back to normal! Thank you so much Dr. Philbin and staff! You all are truly changing lives, and it is very much appreciated!

The therapists at OFAS (especially Josh Banks) are terrific. They listen well and are quite knowledgeable, allowing them to tailor my therapy to my specific injury and needs. They are caring and set appropriate goals and limits. KUDOS!

Dr. Philbin and his staff are amazing and so are the PT's. I have been in the therapy world a long time, and know ALOT of PT's, and I am grateful that this is where I was referred. Thank you! all of you!

Business response:

So great to hear, Sarah. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

This entire facility is amazing. Dr. Philbin and staff were absolutely amazing from day one walking into the building. Surgery was a breeze and I am healing great! Friendly and cautious staff at every corner! Those working in the cast room are very knowledgeable and explained everything for me, when it was time for that process. As for Dr. Philbin himself, if there is ever another foot or ankle injury or issue, my family and I will definitely be seeing him again. And would recommend him to anyone!
