Still healing from a recent surgery...Dr Philbin and staff have been GREAT. I'm a Veteran and had this ankle done 10 years ago through the VA...Got 2 screws installed and they figured i didnt need ligaments or tendons repaired...smh...well I have NEVER been medically treated better than this staff of people !!!! The end result is yet to be seen but so far I'm very satisfied with everyone working there!!

After repeated ankle sprains in my right ankle and a shattered left fibula (which was surgically repaired by another doctor), I suffered from constant pain and a very unstable right ankle. Dr. Philbin repaired the loose ligaments in that ankle and reinforced them with a donor tendon, because of my genetically loose joints. Several doctors had told me that maybe I should find low-impact sports and activities instead of running, etc. However, since my surgery, I have run a 5K, breaking my PR from before all of my ankle injurie... read more
