Dr. Atchison has replaced both of my knees and 1 hip, I will and have recommended him to anyone that needs Surgery.
Dr. Atchison is an excellent surgeon. Process and surgery center help ensure favorable outcomes. That said, it is a cattle call, and more patients seen by the Physician Assistants than not. You're hiring a surgeon and everything else taken care of by staff. Also, don't miss your pre surgery class and begin exercises before surgery. Problems with insurance paying for both an anesthesiologist and anesthesia nurse so was out several thousand dollars with my knee replacement. Check before.
Dr. Atchison is a very good doctor . He has an good personality and cares about his patients. He has performed two knee surgeries on me and he's wonderful. I trust him 100% with my care . He has an great PA's that are great also! I just can go on and on about how much of an excellent doctor that he is.
I had partial knee replacement two months ago and am doing great. Very very pleased with Dr. Atchison and staff.
Late and very overloaded, busy. Also, short with very little explanations of disease and processes. Not much personality, either. Did not go back.
