Was referred for an ankle injury that happened on 8/14, today is 8/17 (I have been out of work due to this injury) and I was told that the soonest they can see me is October 28th, because they “only have so many spots for Medicaid patients”. I stated that I was out of work and could not remain out of work for 2+ months to be seen. The person I spoke with did not seem to care at all, and didn’t even apologize. So because I’m poor I can’t receive prompt care and treatment? That’s shameful.

This whole staff is top notch starting with the lovely ladies at the front desk who always greet you with a smile and warm hello. They are kind and treat each person like they actually matter not just a bill to be processed. Then the doctors....I hurt myself at work and the first Ortho doctor I was sent to said I was emotional and he didn't understand why. Dr. Shah and his team are unmatched. After many experiences with procedures, doctors, nurses, hospitals and more, I have never experienced the kind of personal care OSC of Westminster provides. They are so respectful of time, they're friendly, communicative and Dr. Shah did such an awesome job with my two shoulder procedures, that a month after getting hardware removed, I have 100% mobility back in addition to ridiculously surprising strength back at the gym. This place seemed nice. But the doctor was horrible. Both times I’ve gone he’s treated me poorly acting like I was just seeking drugs. I didn’t even ask for medication. I needed help and it was a waste of time I called to make sure I could get my knee drained and they said they could but then then they couldn’t once I was there. He also pushed hard on the hurt knee and made it way worse. It’s not ok… discrimination is not ok. Just because I was an ex addict he assumed I was there for drugs when I wasn’t.
