I have known Dr.Mandel for many years he has always taken great care of me and many family members. I recently had reverse shoulder replacement surgery he did an excellent job.God bless you and your wonderful staff
I highly recommend Orthopaedic Associates (Westlake office). I had a fantastic experience with the doctor side and the PT side of the practice! Doctor Irwin Mandel did a wonderful job on my rotator cuff repair. He took the time to explain the injury and what needed to be done. It's been 6 months and I am as good as before the injury. I did all my physical therapy at this location. The PT's and PTA's were great. They listened, adjusted therapy when needed and explained each therapy and why we were doing it.
CAN SOMEONE TRAIN/HELP secretary TISH? Preauth not submitted, approvals not entered for scheduling, does not answer phone, does NOT RETURN phone calls. Other staff admit that she is awful. You can have the best surgeons but if the staff can't do their jobs, it doesn't matter. She has been there for four months and the issues continue and it is getting worse. It takes weeks for her to do her job, then you can schedule,, meanwhile Dr Shaia has open slots. Patients are needlessly suffering. This is ridiculous behavior from a do... read more
I went to this orthopedic office for a knee issue, and my overall experience was pretty disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was just another number in the waiting room. The whole process felt very rubber stamped, like everything was boilerplate and form lettered, with the front desk staff mostly going through the motions rather than making you feel like you were being taken seriously as a person who is actually dealing with pain and limitations. If you are a blue-collar worker that has a very physical job requiring strength and agility DO NOT come to this place you would be better served going through a hospital system whether it’s through health insurance or a Worker’s Comp. claim. This place doesnt seem to understand the demands and rigors of physical work and agility and may send you back to work too quickly as I experienced myself before changing to a hospital system.
