I went in to see Dr. Joseph Albano for a cyst on my wrist. Instead of recommending surgery (like the other orthopedic surgeon I saw), Dr. Albano recommended that I drain the cyst as there was a chance it would not return. And if it did return, then surgery could be considered. I find this type of advice highly transparent and ethical. Dr. Albano drained the cyst in under 1 minute with no pain whatsoever. Hopefully the cyst does not return. But if it does, I will definitely seek his advice for surgical options. Thank you.
