I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at OrthoIndy Urgent Care. I called the call center twice prior to my visit to confirm that I could be seen, fully explaining my situation — including the fact that I had been to the ER the previous week and had x-rays taken. Both representatives assured me that I would be able to receive care at their urgent care facility. While my experience with the provider themselves was fine, I was incorrectly given another patient's invoice. Additionally, I was charged an extra $100 by my insurance for imaging services that I explicitly declined with the nurse.
I’ve been to this location two times and on both occasions I was essentially pushed through the door. It’s clear they are on a time crunch because I have spent more time signing in than I did with the actual doctor, when I did tell them what’s going on, they already had a diagnosis before I finished. I also didn’t appreciate my husband being called when it wasn’t an emergency, it was to reschedule, and it was almost immediately after I was left a voice message.
