I’ve been to this location two times and on both occasions I was essentially pushed through the door. It’s clear they are on a time crunch because I have spent more time signing in than I did with the actual doctor, when I did tell them what’s going on, they already had a diagnosis before I finished. I also didn’t appreciate my husband being called when it wasn’t an emergency, it was to reschedule, and it was almost immediately after I was left a voice message. I called OrthoIndy suspecting a herniated disc in my low back, or a badly inflamed SI joint. They were able to get me in the next day with Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan was fast, but thorough, and confirmed that he felt I was dealing with a badly inflamed SI joint. He prescribed diclofenac. It immediately took the inflammation down enough so I could use the PT exercises that helped me the last time this happened years ago, and get some sleep and return to work. Dr. Steinberg is by far the worst physician I have ever gone to. He lied to my face saying he never went over my MRI with me when I know for a fact my PCP sent it over to him and I sat there with him talking about the results. So he tried to get me to have another. I do not have money to waste. Especially when you are not interested in finding my pain issues. I will find somebody else
If you are going to require that patients that receive procedures that require medications and you require that they have the person whom is their transportation stay at the hospital then you need to make this very clear. I was told that I could not drive and needed transportation, so I had my person drop me off. His phone number was given to staff.
