I went to Dr. Hartshorn at OrthoBoston for a 2nd opinion last year when I tore my ACL. The first doctor at a different clinic brushed off my MRI because my knee was only buckling “a few times”. I have been a patient of Dr. Hartshorn for a few years now. He is amazing!! He is extremely intelligent, great bedside manner and down to Earth. He explains procedures so anyone can understand. I've had a reverse shoulder operation as well as a knee replacement. As I fall apart, he puts me back together. I was a nurse for 28 Years, you can't find a better orthopedist.
I had my left hip replaced in September and everything went so smoothly. The doctor and his staff are the best. Recommend very highly. Also a shout out to the staff at Newton Wellesley , the care was excellent.

Practice Manager Carlene is not very good at following up (she recently started at Ortho.Boston this year, 2021; did my research). Expressed interest in one of their job postings by sending an email inquiry to their team email. Got a call from her but was unable to answer. Voicemail was left - was told only in the office till 3:30. Sent another email to the general mailbox, addressing her directly, advising my availability.
