He explained my options and seemed genuine in wanting to help without going directly to the most evasive option.
I was doing a follow up on my shoulder, but mentioned that I was considering knee replacement. I didn’t know he also did knees. He looked at my knee X-rays since I had been doing injections at OrthoAz and verified that knee replacement was needed.
Good doc to the point. I happen to like the straight up tell like it is doctor.
After waiting an 1.5 hours to see him. He was confusing and dismissive of my issues. I got a better understanding from his assistant after he left. When I clearly was confused he got kind of mean. People come here in pain, desperate for relief and he offered me no help.
After 2 hours on the phone to get an appointment, we were finally “matched” with Dr. Martin who could handle a complex leg break. We sent over all the details, X-rays and CT scan in advance of our appointment. Since my leg is broken in 3 places, it’s not easy to get in and out of a vehicle so we prepared our visit in advance. We arrived early, brought all the paperwork and sat patiently for over an hour past the apt. time. My first impression was that it was a very busy place. There were lots of patients and lots of doctors. The check-in went very smoothly. The wait was brief. I had some X-Rays taken before seeing Dr. Martin so, he knew exactly what he was looking at when he examined me. He was quick to diagnose the problem and gave me an injection that helped relieve the pain instantly.
Doc on time, took a thorough history and exam. Reviewed x-rays and his assessment of my problem. Proposed a conservative treatment plan and followup visit to review my progress and make adjustments in treatment as needed. Would highly recommend !
Left his office feeling relieved, informed and confident.
My visit was for minor one. It was quick and his suggestions were fir to my needs.
