We have eaten at Orso' for many years and have never been disappointed, but last night, 9/1/17, for our anniversary the food was not very good. The bottom of the burger bun was hard or burnt, my husband couldn't cut through it to cut the burger in half. I had the chicken fettuccine and was disappointed. It had NO flavor. I'll think twice about going back. However the service was good.
I've only been a few times, however every time has been a great experience! This time our server was cheerful & friendly. The Manager stopped by & socialized. The Rib-eye I had was cooked perfectly & BIG!! Best of all was the Chocolate Tort with warm gananche filling❣️

Last night was my first visit to Orso, though I've been to their sister restaurant, Glacier Brewhouse, many times. I hadn't the crab stuffed rockfish and my boyfriend hadn't the ribeye. We started with the smoked salmon deviled eggs and the seafood verde from the small plate menu. All of the food was amazing! The service was great! The atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back soon!!!

We have been going to this awesome restaurant for years, and it just gets better, and better, the staff, atmosphere is lovely...but one of the best of all...is there Lamb Shank, to die for, if in Anchorage, you cannot go wrong in giving this restaurant a go.
