Some people just think of the Orpheum as a place to go see a "show" but they are so much more to our community in Memphis. They give back far more than the general public realizes. From the classes, programs and support they give our area high schools and teachers... special programs like camps for grieving teens... to the innumerable ways they support our local talent pool and community theatres... and let's not forget to mention bringing top notch entertainments to our fair city. The Orpheum is a Memphis treasure and it brings such a high caliber of art to our community. I deeply appreciate its commitment to education and our youth, as well as graciously hosting the Ostrander awards every year for our theatre community.
