Season subscriber for years. I support the Orpheum's decision to choose the full theatrical season offerings as well as cinematic offerings. The Orpheum has provided entertainment for Memphis audiences for decades, and will continue to do so.
Looks like The Orpheum has a long and interesting history in Memphis. Sad you chose to be part of history disappearing.
Taking down one of the greatest movies, Gone With The Wind, in this country's history will do NOTHING to improve race relations. This is truly ridiculous. What we could promote is how "Mammy" was the first African-American actress to win an Academy Award.
Terrible acting using an art to incorporate politics. Too bad.
A beautiful venue and a TRUE part of Memphis history. Great shows are performed here, and the Orpheum will survive not screening some relic movies like every other venue has.
No thanks! If you as a theatre can not support the movies that have made you so much money, I have no reason to support you.
