Oh you see is the biggest joke in Central Florida. What's so funny is they called them selves the reliable one, where is in reality they are the least reliable company in Central Florida. On two occasions over the span of the last month and a half OUC has blown me off for appointments without a phone call they're big on apologies though. If you have an option to use another company do so don't waste your time Tom Roderick
Cant access my on line account. Called in get information on my late payment spoke with someone and got what I needed. Then asked about the on line account. Was told that would be customer service. Transferred me. After holding for 1 hour and 25 mins I was disconnected. Called back in and was told that would be the customer service department so I'm currently sitting on hold again. The reason for the late payment is due to the mail. Which they are aware of and it's noted on their website. But they still charged me th... read more
This is the worst utility company ever! I was charged because of a payment they so call couldn't find from 3 months ago. After being charged a $30 fee I asked for a supervisor and Natasha called. She told me to send her A screen shot of my bank account that the payment went through. I sent that, haven't heard back for a few days. So I emailed her back and asked what was the status of it, she then tells me I need a document from my bank. Well what was the point of you asking for a screen shot. The managers and the employees a... read more
My daughter called to report flickering lights at her home in Conway area this day . A serviceman named Bill arrived a short time later and quickly diagnosed the problem. He went about the repair with the very best attitude possible. It was an extensive repair but accomplished in a very short time. He was terrific and I thank OUC for sending him out. Good job Bill and good job OUC
To start off, I'd like to mention that a 0-star would be much more appropriate. Upon installation, I was given the option to use Power Pass, which essentially allows you to pay ahead and have more control of your power consumption since you can see daily charts. I thought this was a good idea at the time. I was dead wrong. Without so much of a warning, I was disconnected 4-5 times during my one year stay with this company. Normally, I would receive a pending disconnect notice one to two days AFTER they had already disconnec... read more
Unfortunately since it is basically a monopoly and depends where you reside there might not be any other choice other than OUC but if there was another company for the specific area I would not suggest OUC. In consideration of Hurricane Irma and how many families where displaced and without electricity OUC is not willing to work with customers seeking payment extension not even for 1 week. They are quick to turn off services but it took them a week to restore power.
I have lived in downtown Orlando for 25 years. Over this time, the power supplied by OUC may only be likened to a third world country. The amount of time I come home to blinking clocks is beyond incompetence. The last two of three nights I was forced to abandon my home due to multiple hours without power. If they went out of business, I'm not sure anyone would notice! Every review on Facebook and Yelp that I read was negative. How can they get away with such numbing incompetence for so many years? Who is protecting these peo... read more
Awful monopoly who abuses its customers because they are the only utility company available in my area! Deplorable!!!!!!
