I am extremely disappointed with the lack of compassion and empathy shown by the case management team at this hospital. My 99-year-old family member, who suffers from dementia, was being pushed toward discharge to an unsafe environment without proper consideration for their condition or well-being. Instead of working with the family to ensure a safe and appropriate care plan, the case manager seemed more concerned with clearing the bed than protecting a vulnerable elderly patient.
