Worst experience ever buying a new car from Orland Toyota. I ordered a 2021 RAV4 after agreeing to the final price with the salesman. After 2 months the car came in, and to my surprise $900 of mandatory dealer add-ons for paint protection, anti- theft protection, and nitrogen in the tires were added to the price. This was never disclosed to me when I placed my order for the car and was not in my original agreed upon price and paperwork. Their explanation was that they add these things to all new cars. I went to Orland, Toyota to purchase a Used ***** for 14999. I had a pre approval from *********** for 6%. . They charged me an additional 500 dollars for some clear paint job that I did not ask for. When I got my papers it said the car was 15500. Charging me for the paint which I am now financing. I said to ***** I didnt ask for this or you didnt say it was a charge and he said that we already applied it. The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had in any industry - hands down. I have owned 3 Toyotas, and leased 2 Toyotas - a loyal, paying customer for over a 20 year window of time. Evidently this staff didn't learn the 101 level skills of taking care of loyal customers. Last Saturday, Oct. 31st I blocked off my entire afternoon/evening in order to be available to buyout my lease, after speaking on the phone with Ali (finance) multiple times to punch numbers.
