RecommendedOrland Park Cyclery is the best! Two weeks ago they fixed up/tuned up my thirty-three year old Schwinn and my son loves it (has already logged over 50 miles) and today they fixed the gear shifters on my Trek and its running as good as new. Great people, great service!
Excellent service! I took in my bike on 4/3/20 to get my chain replaced. They noticed the flywheel was bent (I feared this). I was amazed by how the prices were super low for parts and labor. I spent $60 for parts and labor. They said they would have the bike ready the next day in the evening on 4/4/20. Well, while my sons wheel was getting fixed we had the pleasure of listening to the owner speak to his employees. Emphasizing to them that if they see kids on the stationary exercise bikes in the store display, that they need to get them off. He then went on to describe them as little demon children, who don’t follow the rules. He was very rude to his employees the entire time we were there. Nice people to deal with. I wanted to get some wheels assessed and they took 10 min out of their day to help me out. I offered $ but they refused. Great people. Even better dogs!
I had given up hope on my Specialized’s rear wheel after taking a bad pothole. When I talked to other bike shops they tried to steer me into buying a whole new wheel or wheet set. On a Sunday I was in the area so decide to drop in and explain my predicament. We talked about possibly doing a rebuild. Came back Monday with the wheel and with a few minor love taps wheel was fixed. Saved anywhere from $200 to $1200. Orland Park Cyclery, you got one happy customer and I’m riding happy again.
Go to Richards Palos Bikes, way better than this place. Poor service and very unprofessional. Purchased a bike for my son and the Mgr. wanted to charge me for the seat post which was replacing a shock absorbed post. All this after I purchased my son’s bicycle for $530.00. Cancelled the order, went to Richards in Palos Heights and my 11 y. o. is so excited... Ba bye Orland. I purchased two other bikes for my son their, but never again!
Purchased my bike from Jim and their service on the bike has been excellent. Isaac repaired a flat tire I had on Saturday! Their staff is excellent!
