I like this place. I always bring people that are not from here over there. They can't stop thinking about this place. I just wish they would substitute pancakes for something else rather than toast but that's ok. Oh.. And that the grits would be a little thicker that way it doesn't get so soupy so quickly. This is where Kevin McCalister would go to breakfast with his family. Charming restaurant with fabulous retro dining highlighted with amazing Christmas cheer. I had the Dutch baby a toasty puffy German pancake with powdered sugar and lemon. Think a giant happy Northern beignet. My daughter and I split cheesy hash browns and crispy bacon. Coffee was piping hot in carafe and mugs were prewarmed. Take out Apple cinnamon pancake for Christmas looks amazing! A must visit!
