Amazing... Our eight year old gives it a quadrillion thumbs up!
This restaurant is superb. Pork verde omelette special with jalapeño cheddar biscuits was delicious. Great service and clean restaurant all around.
The pancakes r water thin n the gravy tastes like it comes from a can.
For being 20% overstaffed this morning, the service was scant and rude. We paid out the nose for a botched waffle order, and as a bonus were told by our server, Melanie, that we would not be allowed a dry waffle to replace it, unless we wanted to pay double, because you get what you get. We got to watch four waitresses and two hostesses snipe at, and trip over, each other for an hour from the bar - where we waited for a table that was given to another party. Delicious food, local sources, friendly staff, local people, warm syrup (essential for a great breakfast) & convenient location. What more could you want?
We had the pancake breakfast special and biscuit and gravy special. Biscuits and gravy were so-so. Pancakes were horrible! They were crispy like they were deep fried and were very thin, about a quarter inch thick. Tasted bad, like the oil they were fried in was old and I couldn't finish them. Service was great but when we complained about the pancakes, the manager/owner, Melody, who is also one of the servers told us that's the way they make them and everybody loves them. The work crew was so nice and amazing to us. We there on an emergency and they were gracious to allowed us to hang out till the car was fixed,
