Wow. What an amazingly relaxing and rejuvenating experience I had here! My girlfriend and I left Santa Barbara to come to stay with Jill at Origin for a week back in June and we had the times of our lives. The entire property is perfectly tended to and absolutely beautiful, not to mention the clean comfy rooms and accommodating staff. The wind caves near the property are an incredibly spiritual and breathtaking sight to behold. Will definitely be returning!
I have to tell you how disgusted and disappointed I am at the amount you are charging to see the Ra Paulette caves. Ra Paulette prided himself on creating art and not charging a lot to do so at about $8 per hour?? When you had the tour at $20 I felt this was fair and fell in line with his ethics, siting the fee to keep the few hundred foot trail nice, I understood! Origin is a unique and amazing place. My boyfriend and I went for the cave tour and were guided by the lovely Nazanin. Her knowledge of the region and welcoming spirit heightened our experience. The cave carved by Ra Paulette was astounding. We were treated to a delicious and healthy lunch afterwards and opted to take paddle boards on lake Abiquiu nearby. It was a great day in a beautiful part of the state. I would recommend a visit here to anyone.
